Good notes vs notability6/18/2023 Neither one is better than the other, but with my preference of note taking GN is not my first choice anymore. I find my notes to look a lot more "bulky" and stoic than flowy and "artsy" in GN and more flowy in Notability. Overall, I find GoodNotes to be more aesthetic but less practical as a college student. I'm a visual learner who draws diagrams for most things and likes using a more "flowy" note-style than bullet points. someone who has to do a yearly payment.Ībout me: I am a sophomore in college (year 2) taking Anatomy & Physiology w/ Lab, Neurobiology w/ Lab, Sociology, and Philosophy. Note: I don't have the premium version of Notability, my sister bought it before you needed to subscribe so I got to download it for free and this may impact how I see it vs. ![]() This is definitely one of the biggest things to consider. ![]() The first thing to note is Notability does cost more (yearly payment), vs. ![]() I wanted to make this because there is always so many popups of which platform to use, and opinions vary a lot without giving much explanation. I have been using GoodNotes a long longer, so there may be some discrepancy (I overall feel more comfortable on GoodNotes because it's more familiar to me) but after playing around with Notability a lot and using it for majority of my classes, I feel like I can speak pretty confidently on both apps. Hello everyone! I have been using GoodNotes and Notability and wanted to answer any questions people may have and give my opinions as a STEM major with a humanities minor.
